Giorgio PantanoGiorgio holds an economics sciences degree from the University of Venice. He is an inventor and entrepreneur for the company. After several years in the IT industry, in 2001, he decided to dedicate himself to viticulture. Due to his managerial experiences, he was chairman of Sansovino Vigneti e Cantine (now Conselve vigneti e Cantine): www.cantinaconselve.it. In these years, wines from the winery were awarded worldwide, giving the winery an important role in Padua's surroundings. Then, in 2008, he gave up on the management and started developing Rovitis, the autonomous robot for spraying. Through this project, Giorgio was awarded two publicly funded projects by the Veneto region and was the Principal Investigator for several years, driving the development and innovation of the robotic platform. Now, he is a full-time grape grower, consultant for new technologies in vineyards, and investigator for new viticulture technologies.

Grazia BottinGrazia is the owner of the company. She has an High School Diploma in International Languages. After several years in the fashion design sector she decided to open with his husband Giorgio, Mediana S.r.l a software design company and then the grape growing company Az. Agricola Pantano. Since then she helped growing the company with infrastructure investments up to one million euros meanwhile Giorgio was developing the robotic platform. She is now in charge of the grape tending and the company business strategy.

Matteo PantanoMatteo is the company's R&D supervisor. He holds B.Sc. in Automation Engineering at the University of Bologna (Italy) and a Master of Engineering in Automation and IT at Technische Hochschule Köln (Germany). He is now an industrial PhD candidate at Siemens (Germany) through the Technische Universität München. M.Eng. Matteo Pantano has vast experience with ROS, collaborative robotics, team management, and artificial intelligence. Hence, he is handling the software and hardware development for autonomous navigation. Moreover, he supervises the vertical integration of the autonomous robot in the vineyard infrastructure.

Giovanni PantanoGiovanni is Giorgio's second son, and he completed Scientific High School. He holds a B.Sc. in Viticulture and Oenology from the University of Padova, Conegliano branch. His bachelor's thesis focused on the use of ultraviolet light for defense against plasmopara viticola through the Thorvald II robotic platform. Giovanni has acquired several years of experience in robotic vineyard management, and now he is gaining experience in different wineries worldwide and working at Opus One (USA).
