We are a little company based on north-east Italy, our main interested are grapes since 1872 when our founder Pietro planted the first grapes in the rich soil of Candiana. Since that day, we are trying to make vine growing better and better thanks to all the innovations that are available and will be available.
Our company principally produces grapes that are then used to produce one of the finest wines as: Prosecco DOC, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay. We are proud of that because our passion bring to a lot of people good moments and good wines.

But our new project is going to change all the grape world, it is named ROVITIS. It is a tiny autonomous robot able to drive autonomously through a vineyard providing to the vine grower a great help in the daily work. But this is not only the only advantage of Rovitis, with it is possible to reduce the contact that the vine grower has with the chemicals used for spraying avoiding unnecessary inhalations of chemical products.
Furthermore with Rovitis a lot of time is saved and the vine grower could concentrate all his efforts in the wine production and other more specialized work that request his intervention.

Projects

In the past, through our constant commitment, we were awarded several regionally funded projects. One of these was Rovitis 4.0 , a collaboration between end-users and industry to develop a new machine with an innovative mechanical and electrical interface. Our strategic partner, Azienda Agricola Pantano, played a key role in this project, with Giorgio—thanks to his extensive experience in grape growing and IT—leading and coordinating the cooperation.
Building on that experience, we are now launching a new project, Pota.razio, which focuses on automating and making vineyard pruning smarter in order to significantly reduce operational costs.
